Municipality automates energy controlling
In 2016, the municipality of Frankenberg (Eder) gave the go-ahead for the establishment of an active building energy management system. For more efficient recording of current energy consumptions and operating states in numerous public properties, Frankenberg relies on remote monitoring solutions from RCT for energy controlling.
For example, meter readings (electricity, water, natural gas, heating oil) and tank levels (gas, heating oil), heating circuit temperatures and system malfunctions are automatically and centrally recorded. Early identification of problems, unusual consumptions or temperature decreases enables fast, targeted action and reduces downtimes. In addition to savings through automation, the solution ensures high system availability and enables objective evaluation of energy-saving potential.
